The Fifth Apple is a Piece of Eden, a piece of ancient but technologically advanced equipment created by Those Who Came Before to control human-kind, their workforce.
Use: Designed to create illusions and control men's minds; can be used in conjunction with the Staff.
Status: Unknown
Neutral Ownership: Those Who Came Before.
Assassin Associated Ownership: None.

History
The Fifth Apple was located and recovered by Templars on the moon, but how it got there and how long it was there is unknown. According to Subject 16, "something was up there, something abandoned long ago."[1]
After the murder of US President John F. Kennedy by Templars, and the subsequent recovery of the Third Apple, Kenedy's Vice-President Lyndon B. Johnson, who was a Templar himself, succeeded him as President.[2] Though Kennedy was targeted because many of his policies were against the Templar agenda, another possible reason is because he wanted to create a joint space program with the Soviets.
