Journey's End was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan in 2018 through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description
Kassandra sought to avenge Phidias' death and help him solve the puzzle.
Dialogue
Kassandra inspected Phidias' body and recovered the scytale.
- Kassandra: Here it is, the scytale! Now I can decode the messages. I will avenge you, Phidias. Rest assured of that.
With the scytale, Kassandra pieced together the symbols she copied and read the location of a secret room.
- Kassandra: The scytale message told me to find a secret room in the stronghold in Lemnos... So that's where I should go.
Kassandra departed Elis and headed to the Hephaistos Islands. Upon arriving, she made her away to the stronghold. After eradicating every Cult of Kosmos soldier, Kassandra went up to the command room, killed the general, and found a hallway with eight protuberances on the walls facing each other, each one using the banner emblems of the regions of Greece except for a trident. At the end of the room was a door. She approached one of the push switches.
- Kassandra: Maybe if I press here...
She pressed the switches in sequence according to the decrypted message from the scytale, and the door unlocked. She went inside the room.
- Kassandra: Someone went to a lot of trouble to hide this.
Outcome
Kassandra decrypted the message then sailed to the provided coordinates, avenging Phidias' death and recovering a powerful weapon, the Atlantean Blade.
