Journey's End was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description
After Phidias's murder, Kassandra set off to solve the clues he had her find. It was her hope that completing the puzzle would avenge her lost friend.
Dialogue
Kassandra inspected Phidias's body and found the scytale.
- Kassandra: Here it is, the scytale! Now I can decode the messages.
- Kassandra: I will avenge you, Phidias. Rest assured of that.
With the scytale, Kassandra pieced together the symbols she copied and read the location of a secret room. Upon arriving in Hephaistos Islands, she helped the locals on dealing with the sick and missing athletes, then finally eliminating the Cult exploiting the islands at their stronghold. After eradicating every cult soldiers, Kassandra went up to the command room, killed the general, and found a hallway with eight protuberances on the walls facing each other, each one using the banner emblems of the regions of Greece except for a trident - at the end was a door. She approaches one of the push switches.
- Kassandra: Maybe if I press here...
She pressed the switches in sequence according to the decrypted message from the scytale, and the door unlocks. She went inside the room.
- Kassandra: Someone went to a lot of trouble to hide this.
Outcome
Kassandra decrypted the message then sailed to the provided coordinates. She avenged Phidias, went inside the secret room, then looted a decorated chest containing the Atlantean Blade.
