The Invergordon Mutiny was a military strike by sailors of the British Royal Navy that took place on 15–16 September 1931. It began as a result of disputes over pay cuts.[1]
While stationed at Invergordon, Scotland, a number of ships were in open mutiny. Eddie Gorm was called in to quell the mutiny aboard the warship HMS Hood, but he refused to execute the leader, his brother Marc, and was dishonorably discharged for it.[2]
