The Children of Danu was the name of the Irish branch of the Order of the Ancients. The Children of Danu acted as a violent resistance movement against the rise of the Norse and Christian faiths in Ireland which resulted in the native Druidic faith of Classical Antiquity facing the danger of becoming extinct.
