Myrina is a seaport town situated on the western coast of Lemnos, Greece.
In classical antiquity, the town was a port city known for its cults of the goddesses Artemis, Athena Selene, and the Mother Goddess. It was also known for its soil, which was said to be able to heal wounds and snake bites.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the town was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[2]
