Ambition was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description[edit | edit source]
Lysander, a Spartan general, had a plan how to win the war. To do this, he tasked Kassandra to weaken the Athenians by killing the polemarchoi of three forts.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Kassandra noticed a Spartan commander at the foot of Leonidas' statue atop his tomb, lecturing his soldiers.
Kassandra approached him.
- Lysander: You're not one of my soldiers. You better have a good reason for being here.
- Kassandra: We Spartans stand together. So here I am.
- Lysander: Yes. Spartan blood matters most.
- Kassandra: Looks like this victory will bring you glory.
- Lysander: The rewards of skill and effort!
- Kassandra: It's the Spartan way.
Lysander paused briefly then spoke.
- Lysander: From slave to general, bathing in the blood of this war, while our leaders stuff their faces and preen.
- Kassandra: The polemarchs believe it's an easy victory.
- Lysander: I will end this war in my favor.
- Kassandra: You have a strategy?
- Lysander: Athenian polemarchs are paralyzed with indecision. They serve too many masters.
- Kassandra: Making them slow to react.
- Lysander: And that's where you come in. Infiltrate their forts and kill their polemarchs. I need the way clear for my troops.
(Accept – I'll kill the polemarchs)
- Kassandra: I'll do my part. Consider the commanders already dead.
- Lysander: Bring me their Athenian seals as proof. You'll be rewarded for your efforts.
In time, Kassandra eventually completed the task and returned to Lysander.
- Lysander: The blood of the enemy will show our leaders that my strategy is the right one.
- Kassandra: These seals should help convince them.
- Lysander: You've done well. Our troops are on the move.
- Kassandra: They underestimate Spartans.
- Lysander: They consider me much lower than a Spartan.

Kassandra helped Lysander collect 3 polemarch seals. In return, she obtained Lysander's own personal belt and another task to retrieve 3 more seals.
