Falling on Deaf Ears was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.

Following her choice, Kassandra was faced with its consequences.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
A man drew Kassandra's attention in Argolis.
- Kassandra: Can I help you with something?
- Man: You're the misthios Eteokles spoke of!
- Kassandra: Who?
- Man: The farmer who owned the white bull. He was sick, you made a sacrifice to the gods in his name. He's a good friend of mine.
- Kassandra: Ah yes. And how is Eteokles?
- Man: He's dead.
- Kassandra: Asklepios himself couldn't have cured that farmer.
- Man: Your sacrifice warmed his dying heart. He offered me whatever food was left on his land, but rotten bandits took over the farm. He deserved better.
- Kassandra: And you're hoping I'll kill all the bandits?
- Man: Exactly. None should be left alive.
(Accept - I'll hunt the outlaws.)
- Kassandra: It won't be easy, but I'll take care of it.
- Man: The Fates are working in my favor.
- Kassandra: Leave it to me.
Kassandra left the merchant and sought out Eteokles' farm. She slew the bandits there before returning to the merchant.
- Man: You're back. Have you killed them?
- Kassandra: I took care of them. Every last one.
- Man: My dear friend, you've earned this!
- Kassandra: That'll do.
Outcome[edit | edit source]
Kassandra found and slew the bandits, receiving a reward for this.
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
This quest is only available if the farmer was chosen as the target of the prayers in the quest A Heart for a Head.
