Bounty on a Spartan Leader was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description[edit | edit source]
Kassandra noticed a bounty for the Spartan Leader on a message board:
- "Drachmae and glory to the one who kills (leader)! Let the Spartans weep and wail for their dead!"
- "(Leader) does nothing while the wolves eat our children and the bandits ravish us. Cut the face from his grinning skull."
- "(Leader) gained his power by robbing, murdering, and terrorizing poor people like me. I finally have enough for a bounty - avenge us."
- "(Leader) is the wolf at the door. He is the hunger in our belly and the hand at our throat. End our suffering. End him."
- "Sparta and its allies have known times of great plenty, but (leader) wastes our resources. He will impoverish us all if he's not stopped."
- "War all of the time. (Leader) lives for it. Lusts for it. But even Spartans must have peace sometimes. We must be free of this tyrant."
Outcome[edit | edit source]
Kassandra accepted the contract, and slew the Spartan Leader, claiming the bounty.
