Description
Dialogue
Misthios sat, humming while holding the top half of a spear atop a building.
- Rogue: Hey, shit-face! Get down here!
Misthios proceeded to the edge of the building.
- Rogue: Cyclops's got a message for you!
Misthios leapt from the building to stand before the rogue and his companion.
- Misthios: Tell your boss he can stick it -
The rogue's companion punched Misthios.
- Rogue: That's for last week!
- Misthios: Malaka!
- Rogue: The Cyclops said you like to act tough. So act tough!
After Misthios knocked the rogue and thug out, Misthios sat in exhaustion.
- Misthios: Last week? This shit happens every week. I can't keep doing this.
Misthios looked up as Ikaros landed and screeched.
- Misthios: Thanks for the warning.
Phoibe ran around the corner.
- Phoibe: What happened to you?
- Mithios: It's nothing, Phoibe. All taken care of now.
- Phoibe: The Cyclops again, huh? Hasn't he learned his lesson yet?
- Misthios: Apparently not. Phoibe proceeded to eat some of Mithios's food. Of course. Help yourself.
- Phoibe: You hungry too, Ikaros? Do you think Zeus would bless me with an eagle? Like he blessed you? ...Maybe you could ask him for me!
Misthios chose answer before continuing.
- Misthios: So. What are you doing here?
- Phoibe: Oh! I almost forgot! Markos is looking for you.
- Misthios: What does that weasel want now?
- Phoibe: Don't know. He wanyts you to meet him at his new house. On his vineyard.
- Misthios: What? A vineyard? Malaka!
- Phoibe: It's on the road to Sami. He says wine will make him rich!
(If players choose "How long has Markos had a vineyard?")
- Misthios: Since when has he had a vineyard?
- Phoibe: Yesterday I think.
- Misthios: So Markos - who owes me drachmae - is buying vineyards? With what money?
- Phoibe: I dunno.
(If players choose "Where on the road to Sami?")
- Misthios: Where can I find Markos's new, beautiful estate?
- Phoibe: You know the statue of Zeus on Mount Ainos? It's south of that!
(If players choose "I'll go find him.")
- Misthios: Well, I guess I owe Markos a little visit. Thank you, Phoibe.
- Phoibe: I'll go tell Markos you're coming.
The rogue and thug rose groggily to their feet as Phoibe departed.
- Thug: My head...
(If players choose not to kill the rogue and thug.)
- Misthios: Fun's over. Tell that one-eyed freak if he ever sends you here again, I'm gonna cut out his other eye and feed it to my bird. They two ran off. I'll see Markos as soon as I'm dressed.
