Left to Dye was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.

Description

Empedokles requested Kassandra to retrieve a key from a thief.

Dialogue

Accepting Empedokles' request, Kassandra went to look for the thief who stole the disk. After a bit of searching, she found the thief with his guards.

• Greek Brute: Purple dye might stink like rotten dog guts, but I'll be fucked if doesn't make me look like a god!
• Greek Soldier: Technically it's made from rotten snail guts, boss.
• Greek Brute: ...I'm wearing snail guts?

Kassandra killed the thief and his guards, recovering a pair of bracers and the disk from the thief's corpse.

Key to Olympos
Though it may look like an ordinary disk, it is allegedly the key to unlocking the gates of Olympos.

Kassandra then returned to Empedokles at his statue.

• Empedokles: Ah, look how she strides! The confidence! If I didn't know better, I'd say there were two gods on Kythera!
• Kassandra: I found your disk.
• Empedokles: Praise me! Clearly, I have worked through you.
• Kassandra: Clearly. Time to meet the gods, then?
• Empedokles: I'd love to introduce you to my family—of course, if you're ready to join me?

(Reject - No, enough of this.)

• Kassandra: First, I have other matters to attend to..
• Empedokles: Matters more important than meeting the gods?! Your life must be a blessed adventure.

(After conversation with Empedokles)

• Civilian 1: Praise Empedokles! Oh, oh praise him!

Empedokles asking Kassandra to meet his "siblings"

(Accept – Yes, I will.)

• Kassandra: This should be interesting.
• Empedokles: That, my dear misthios, I can absolutely guarantee. A moment please, while I address my audience.

Empedokles turned to his followers.

• Empedokles: Rejoice! For I, your humble god, shall introduce you to my brothers and sisters. Athena awaits you! Ares demands your audience!
• Kassandra: That's a big promise.
• Empedokles: You doubt me?!

I doubt you.I believe in you.

• Kassandra: I doubt you could get us to the ocean. It's behind you, by the way.
• Empedokles: How dare you mock—I—I'm a god! A god!

Empedokles turned to one of his follower.

• Empedokles: What am I?!
• Civilian: A—a god?
• Kassandra: Thanks for clearing that up.

• Kassandra: I don't doubt the joy you've brought to your followers.
• Empedokles: Their loyalty will be rewarded. As will yours.

• Empedokles: We set sail for the Gulf of Korinth, and all the secrets she veils! Meet us there and see the truth for yourself.

(Accept – I'll see you there.)

• Kassandra: And meet your siblings? Wouldn't miss it.
• Empedokles: To the Gulf of Korinth, and all she hides, misthios!

Kassandra spoke to the nearby civilian.

• Civilian 1: Do you really think Empedokles is a God?
• Civilian 2: I couldn't give a shit if he was a rooster - I'm just here to get away from the Priestesses.

Outcome

Kassandra helped Empedokles reclaim the so-called key to Olympus. She agreed to meet him at the island in the Gulf of Korinth.

Behind the scenes

The two brutes guarding the thief carrying the key have unique avatars when viewed by Ikaros. They can be knocked out and recruited as lieutenants for the Adrestia.
