Dikastes (Greek: δικαστής) was a legal office position[1] that granted its bearer the authority to carry out and enforce judgement within the Isu city of Atlantis on behalf of the city's ruling Dikastes Basileus (Δικαστής Βασιλεύς, lit. "sovereign judge").[2] During the Isu Era, Aletheia served as Poseidon's dikastes during his rule of Atlantis for almost its entire history. Following Atlantis' destruction and the Great Catastrophe, the misthios Kassandra entered a simulation based on a composite of Aletheia's and other Isu's memories where she also acted as Poseidon's dikastes and witnessed a version of the city's final fall.[3]
