Wasn't Born the Kingfisher was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description
Kassandra learned there was more to the farmer's story than he let on.
Outcome
Kassandra uncovered the Kingfisher's name, putting her one step closer to freeing Euboea from the Dagger.
Trivia
- If the multiple quests to uncover the Dagger leader's identity have been started (by speaking to Agapios at the magistrate's office after turning in Death and Taxes) before completing The Taxman Cometh, this quest will not be triggered. Instead, the ambush at Chalkis Farm will be skipped and the necessary dialogues will be integrated into 'The Taxman Cometh,' replacing the default conversations with the farmer and his wife. This may result in the player missing out on the xp and rewards from completing both as separate quests.
- Although the enemies ambush the player, they are able to act as witnesses to their allies' deaths and issue a bounty for each one killed. Six thugs in total allows for up to 5 or 6 murder charges at once, which almost certainly guarantees a bounty hunter will start pursuing the player, if not join the thugs in the battle.
- To prevent this, it is relatively easy to lose them in the fields just below the house and crouch-walk around them while they spread out to search. Assassinate them and their bodies will become obscured in the hay, or shoot them from range with arrows.
