The Spanish Rite of the Templar Order were a group of like-minded individuals who swore an allegiance to the Templar ideals, and operated throughout Spain during the Renaissance period of the 15th and 16th centuries. During the 17th century, the Spanish Templars' leadership sent Laureano de Torres y Ayala to the West Indies to find the First Civilization temple known as the Observatory.
