Layla returned to the Altaïr II, and then to Atlantis. There, she relived the memories of Deimos, who had encountered Phidias before. In Phidias' [[Phidias' Workshop|workshop]], he was looking through his scrolls. Deimos arrived shortly afterwards to punched the back of Phidias' head. Phidias head bounced off a block of marble, causing him to bleed. Phidas attempted to crawl for his life, while Deimos tooked a knife off the marble.

Orion's Symbol was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.

Description

Kassandra travelled to Boeotia to look for the symbol in Orion's tomb.

Dialogue

Kassandra reached the entrance to Orion's tomb, finding Aletheia within.

  • Aletheia: Kepper. The Tomb of Orion awaits the Heir.

Kassandra approached Aletheia.

  • Aletheia: In this tomb, the Heir of Memories will see how life grows from a dead place.
  • Kassandra: Life growing from a tomb? If I hadn't seen the Staff work, I wouldn't believe it.
  • Aletheia: The Heir's task is to bring life where there was death. And your task dooms you to endure loss. Close your eyes and picture the face of one you will never see again. What would you tell them?

Kassandra closed her eyes.

  • Kassandra: It's hard for me to apologize, but I would say I'm sorry... for everything I failed to do.

  • Aletheia: Remember that answer, and the path from which it comes.
  • Kassandra: You don't have to tell me, Aletheia. I will always remember... I will always "keep."
  • Aletheia: And now, will the Heir of Memories rise to face the tomb?
  • Kassandra: I suppose she will.

Layla Hassan, who was relieving Kassandra's memories, reported her findings to her team.

  • Layla Hassan: The next stop is the Tomb of Orion. I'll show you how to get there when I get back.
