The Nephilim are an ancient race related to the Isu, those descended from co-mingling with humans.
Legacy and influence
The stories of the Nephilim influenced the writings of the biblical books of Genesis, Ezekiel, and Numbers.[1] These writings were later studied by the Irish monk Brendan of Clonfert during the 6th century. After a pilgrimage to Seahenge, he pondered on the possibility of the structure's timber being carried by the Nephilim, and he begged his God for further knowledge of the truth.[2]
In December 2012, the Assassin Mentor William Miles quoted 13:33 from the Book of Numbers concerning the Nephilim to his son Desmond after hearing a cryptic message from Juno.[3]
