I Need a Hero was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.

Description

After Kassandra helped the Spartans win Megaris, a Commander was eager to strike against the Athenians, yet a certain Athenian commander barred his triumph.

Trivia

The name of the memory is a reference to Bonnie Tyler's song Holding Out for a Hero, the chorus of which begins with the words "I need a hero."
