Buri was an Isu and considered the first of the Æsir in Norse mythology.
Biography
Buri was a being who was trapped in salty rime stones. Auðumbla, the same primeval cow who had suckled Ymir, licked the stones for three days until Buri was freed. Buri eventually fathered a son, Borr, who married the jötunn Bestla, who later became the parents of the brothers Odin, Vili, and Vé.[1]
