Protected in Death was a virtual representation of one of Kassandra's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.

Kassandra met a witch who have issues with looters.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Kassandra read a note left on the message board.
- Grave robbing scum and beasts foul the area. Come help me tidy up these little creatures.
Having read the note, Kassandra went to look for the poster.
- 'Kassandra: I've been looking for you... I saw your message. What's happened?
- Woman: Bandits have been looting the bodies of the fallen. But a curse on the grave robbers will end their violation.
- Kassandra: Interesting plan.
- Woman: Those filthy looters will try to prevent my ritual, I'm sure of it. And the stench of death is sure to draw wild animals near.
- Kassandra: You want me to kill every last one of them.
- Woman: All the bandits must die. Do we have an agreement?
("I'll hunt the outlaws.")
- Kassandra: You can count on me.
- Woman: There's a lot riding on this.
- Kassandra: I'll come back when I'm done.
Kassandra left to locate the bandit camp. After finding the camp in the woods, she eliminated the said bandits and returned to report to the witch.
- Woman: You're back. Have you killed them?
- Kassandra: I took care of them. Every last one.
- Woman: Great work, misthios. You've earned your drachmae.
- Kassandra: Thank you.

Kassandra helped the witch deal with the bandits.
