Silver Mountain

The Silver Mountain was the southeastern region of Attika, Greece.

Home to the town of Lavrio and numerous silver mines, the mountain was the source of Athens' wealth. During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the mountain.^[1]
