The Prize of Pephka was the reward for beating the Minotaur of Leiandros.

The prize consisted of a large sum of drachmae taken from the champions who had previously challenged the Minotaur and met their doom at the hooves of the beast. Part of it, Leiandros claimed, went to the Lato School for Children Whose Parents Were Tragically Killed By the Minotaur.[1]

The prize was promised to whoever could slay the beast. In the end, Leiandros gave the prize to the Spartan misthios Kassandra for her help, before he left Pephka with his wife Kore and daughter Amara.[2]
