The Forest of Eurotas was a region of Lakonia, Greece. The Village of Gytheion was its most remarkable settlement, though the Gorani Marble Quarry was also located therein.

During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the area.^[1]

Eurotas is a king of Lakonia in Greek mythology. According to the story, he created the river bearing his name.
