The Elis City was an ancient Greek city-state and the capital city of Elis in Peloponnese.

One of the largest cities in all of Peloponnese due to a number of small villages joining together, Elis' main claim to fame was the nearby Sanctuary of Olympia,^[1].

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the city.^[2]
