Atlantis artifacts were created by the Isu for their Olympos Project.
As the artifacts were capable of transmutating humans who touched them into hybrid beasts, they gave birth to a number of fantastical creatures in Greek mythology, including the cyclops, Medusa, Sphinx and Minotaur. When the artifact was active, it appeared as a glowing part of the hybrid beast's body: eye for the cyclops, a snake for Medusa, a feather for the Sphinx and a horn for the Minotaur.[1]
During the 5th century BCE, the Spartan misthios Kassandra collected the artifacts.[1]
