Farm of Elais

The Farm of Elais was a farm located on the eastern coast of Kynthos Hills in Delos, Greece.

Dedicated to, or indeed believed to have belonged to, Elais, a minor goddess of oil and one of the daughters of Delos' mythical founder and ruler Anios,^[1] the farm was crawling with Athenian military during the Peloponnesian War. The Spartan misthios Kassandra also explored the place, looking for the Athens|Athenian polemarch Neokles at the request of the Spartan polemarch Thaletas. As it turned out, the Athenians were also looking for Neokles, since he had deserted.^[2]
