Lebrun

Lebrun (died 1870) was a railway engineer and member of the Templar Order working under Countess Konstanze von Visler.

Biography

In 1870, Lebrun was tasked to smuggle the Ankh out of France in the midst of the Paris Commune revolt while fellow Templar Victoire L'Estocq served as a decoy as the Isu artifact's carrier. Whilst attempting to leave Paris via hot air balloon, Lebrun's guise was discovered by fellow passenger Simeon Price, a member of the British Assassins, after he tried to knife the Assassin. In the struggle, Lebrun was killed and the Ankh dropped down with his body from the balloon. In January 1871, Lebrun's body was discovered by the countess' men, but the Ankh was nowhere to be found.
