Apple of Eden 4
The Fourth Apple is a Piece of Eden, a piece of ancient but technologically advanced equipment created by Those Who Came Before to control human-kind, their workforce.
Use: Designed to create illusions and control men's minds; can be used in conjunction with the Staff. Possibly helped in the development of weapons and technology throughout the centuries.
Status: Most likely under Assassin control.
Neutral ownership: Those Who Came Before.
Assassin associated ownership: Nikola Tesla.
Templar associated ownership: Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Adolf Hitler.
History
The first known human possessor of the Fourth Apple is Nikola Tesla, who finds it in his home country of Croatia. [1] When Tesla begins his experiments and intends to make free, unlimited electricity available to all, the Templars begin their campaign to stop him. Thomas A. Edison sends a letter to J. P. Morgan, urging him to cut funding to Tesla's experiments, and to tell other investors to avoid Tesla. Edison also begins publicly slandering Tesla and his experiments, including conducting his own "experiment" to prove that Tesla's electricity can kill people be electrifying an elephant. Some point afterward the Templars break into Tesla's lab and drive him insane, as well as taking the Fourth Apple. [2] [3]
A letter comes up after clicking the glowing orb of light in the picture in the hand of Edison (presumably the Fourth Apple) in Glyph Puzzle #12, indicating that the Apple came into Edison's possession after the Templars take it, and then later lends it to Henry Ford to manipulate assembly line workers for profit. [4] However Ford says "as per instructions" he ships the Fourth Apple to Europe to H. (Adolf Hitler) just before the Socialist Party takes power in Germany to begin World War II.
Hitler uses the Apple to cause Germany's rise from their recession and into the major force of World War II. He also possibly uses the Apple to create a Double, which he was supposed to execute inside the bunker and then flee and meet up with C. (probably Winston Churchill)[5]. However, the Assassins were watching the bunker and killed the real Hitler[6], presumably taking the Fourth Apple for themselves.

I wanted to thank you for letting me make use of PE4 all these years. Among several things, I was able to convince the workers I was raising their pay to $5 a day, when in fact, I gave them a pay cut. But, I had to let PE4 go. As per instructions, I've shipped it to Europe.
H. has it, so I assume the war will begin as soon as he can take over. We'll let him have his fun (Lord knows, that kind of purge will be good for Europe) and then end it with a bang, as planned. Out of the chaos of war a new order will emerge! I've enclosed a picture from Florida of you, me and Firestone. We should attempt to spend more time on the golf course this summer.

The war is over, and we are in control, as planned. But a slight concern has arisen. I received word from our agents in Berlin. H. was supposed to execute his double inside the bunker and meet C. at the rendezvous point with the Piece of Eden.
