History
10th century
According to Subject 16, the Fourth Apple is depicted in 10th century Chinese art, as a flaming golden ball held by a small demon.[4] This painting is the earliest known pictorial representation of firearms, and the gold ball is thought to have represented an early grenade. A hidden message in the glyph in binary code reads "Sumerian Me 23", a reference to the "Sumerian divine weaponry", which is thought to be the Fourth Apple, as it appears to have inspired the Chinese to invent gunpowder and early weapons.[4]
Modern times
The first known human possessor of the Fourth Apple is Nikola Tesla, who found it in his home country of Croatia.[1] When Tesla began his experiments and intended to make free, unlimited electricity available to all,[5] the Templars began their campaign to stop him. Thomas Edison sent a letter to J. P. Morgan,[5] urging him to cut funding to Tesla's experiments, and to tell other investors to avoid Tesla. Edison also began publicly slandering Tesla and his experiments, including conducting his own "experiment" to prove that Tesla's electricity could kill people by electrifying an elephant. Some point afterward the Templars broke into Tesla's lab, stole the Fourth Apple and used it to drive him insane.[2][6]
A letter comes up after clicking the glowing orb of light in the picture in the hands of Mark Twain (presumably the Fourth Apple) in Glyph Puzzle #12, indicating that the Apple came into Edison's possession after the Templars took it, and then later lent it to Henry Ford who manipulated assembly line workers for profit.[3] However Ford says "as per instructions" he shipped the Apple to Europe to Adolf Hitler just before the Nazi Party took power in Germany to begin World War II.
Hitler used the Apple to cause Germany's rise from their recession and into one of the major forces of World War II. He also possibly used the Apple to create a double, which he was supposed to execute inside the bunker and then flee and meet up with C. (probably Winston Churchill).[7] However, the Assassins were watching the bunker and killed the real Hitler[8] presumably taking the Apple for themselves. Only one body was ever found in the bunker when searched later.[9]
