When war first broke out [[ Nikolaos|Spartan general Nikolaos]] and his son[[ Stentor]] aent an army to capture [[Megara]]. The siege was slow and it was slowed down even further by an Athenian blockade. The misthios[[ Kassandra]] broke the Athenian blockade, then she slew the leader of[[ Megaris]] .These actions weakened the nation enough for the Spartan army to take it.

After the disapearence of [[Nikolaos]] his adopted son [[Stentor]] launched a campaign in[[ Boeotia]]. He tasked Kassandra with slaying the[[ Champions of Boeotia]] to weaken the nation.
