Dalla Aegirsdottir (born 849) was a Norse Viking who lived during the 9th century and was a member of the Raven Clan. She claimed to be the daughter of Ægir, the jötunn who was considered the personification of the sea in Norse mythology.[1]

Biography[edit | edit source]

Dalla, born in 849 in a small Norwegian fishing village, faced early orphanhood, leading her to claim a mystical connection as the daughter of the sea. Despite not remembering her parents, Dalla developed a keen interest in shipbuilding. Remarkably talented, she constructed her inaugural boat at the tender age of nine. Embarking on a journey eastward, Dalla's skills caught the attention of the Raven Clan, and she joined as a shipbuilder for their primary raiding vessels.[1]

Personality and traits[edit | edit source]

Dalla, a spirited member of the Raven Clan, embodied a free and independent warrior spirit. Her profound expertise in the field of engineering elevated her to the status of an invaluable ally, contributing significantly to the clan's strategic endeavors.[1] She adorned her forehead with traditional Norse tattoos and had half her head shaved.[2]

Skills and equipment[edit | edit source]

Armed with a heavy weapon and dressed in mid-weighted armor, Dalla was a formidable opponent. She could perform a fierce swing downward onto enemies to disable them and even kill. She was mildly proficient at lockpicking, and moderately able to disarm traps. Owing from her experience as a child, she was also a master craftswoman.[2]
