Hypnos is the Greek personification of sleep. Son of the siblings Erebus and Nyx, he was the twin brother of Thanatos, with whom he lived in the Underworld.
Influence
During her travels in the simulation of Elysium, the Spartan misthios Kassandra destroyed several torches of Hypnos inside Persephone's strongholds. She also visited a cave dedicated to him within Pheraia's Retreat.[1]
Trivia
- The Greek word for Hypnos, Ὕπνος, means 'sleep'.
