Cursed Land of Oedipous was the colloquial name for the eastern region of Boeotia, Greece in the 5th century BCE. Containing the city of Thebes, it was named after the figure of Oedipous, one of its legendary rulers.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War the misthios Kassandra explored the area.[1]
