Pheraia's Retreat formed the easternmost region of Elysium. One of five regions in Elysium, it was home to many lush forested areas and waterfalls.

During the Peloponnesian War the misthios Kassandra explored the area.[1]

  • Pheraia (Φεραία) was an epithet of Hekate named after her mother, the place where Hekate was worshiped, or because she'd been brought up by shepherds of Pheres.
