The Order of Hunters was a branch of the Order of the Ancients who were sent by Amorges to hunt down Darius, a Persian official who assassinated the Emperor Xerxes I in 465 BCE.

Led by Pactyas, the branch hunted Darius across Persia and eventually to Makedonia, Greece in 422 BCE. In the same timeframe, they also begin a hunt for the Spartan misthios Kassandra, whom they dubbed as the Tainted Ones due to the high percentage of Isu blood in them.^[1]

Kassandra worked with Darius and his son Natakas to eliminate and dismantle the Order's operations in the region.^[1]
