Desert Oath?

In the novel, Bion who worked for the Order, tried to exterminate the Medjay's bloodlines. Maybe the Medjays were Tainted Ones and it's why they tried to kill Bayek and later Khemu.Francesco75 (talk) 08:38, April 21, 2019 (UTC)

Yes, the Order were seeking to eliminate the Medjays, but nothing indicates that they were Tainted Ones. Sabu was the last Medjay they had known about since Bayek and Aya were not Medjays by the period. And no, the Order (under a different leadership) were looking to unlock the vault beneath the Temple of Amun. They had no intentions to kill Bayek and Khemu, simply information. Hunt for Darius?

Entirely possible I missed this, but all I remember about their goals was the destruction of the Tainted Ones. Sure, Darius and Natakas fall into that category, but I thought the OoH didn't really even know Darius was in the region? Sadelyrate (siniath) 12:39, April 22, 2019 (UTC)

There is no confirm Darius and Natakas were TOs. They were hunted because of Darius' attempted assassination of the King and the orders by Amorges himself. Nothing is really clear whether the OoA knew about it. But I suppose they found him by chance while they were hunting Kassandra. XOdeyssusx (talk) 13:26, April 22, 2019 (UTC)

That's what I thought, too (and oops, re: Darius, Natakas, TOs). That Darius' presence in Makedonia was a kind of a surprise to the OoH at large, albeit apparently not to Pactyas. I'm trawling through my notes, and I keep constantly running into TO-this and TO-that, but preciously little about Darius-this, Darius-that, in regards to the OoH's goals. There is a theory that Darius is a TO given he has the same golden iris as Leonidas and Pythagoras but nothing confirmed.Lacrossedeamon (talk) 01:03, April 23, 2019 (UTC)
