Operation Weserübung was the code name for the German assault on Denmark and Norway during World War II.
In April 1944, after occupying Denmark, Germany invaded Norway and set fire to a Norwegian village.[1]
In 2012, a photograph of Wehrmacht soldiers burning a Norwegian village's house was later acquired by the Assassin Clay Kaczmarek and hidden in the Animus for his successor, Desmond Miles to find. Desmond did so in September of that year.[2] The picture was hidden with the Glyph puzzle titled "The Bunker".[1]
