Biography
As a child, the Misthios was presented with the broken Spear of Leonidas, an Isu weapon, as an heirloom by their mother. Because of their prestigious lineage, great hopes were placed upon them to live up to the strength and valor of Leonidas. However, they were sentenced to death in the aftermath of a tragedy with their own father, Nikolaos, set on personally carrying out the execution.

Surviving the punishment, the Misthios was forced into a life of exile. Living in Kephallonia, the Misthios grew to become a mercenary who made their home on Barnabas' Adrestia.

Trivia
*Alexios and Kassandra are the two selectable protagonists in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. Regardless of who the player chooses, the two protagonists share the same story.
*Both Alexios and Kassandra have the same romance options. This means that you can choose your character's sexual orientation.

The Misthios was a legendary mercenary and grandchild of Leonidas, who wielded the Spear of Leonidas during the Peloponnesian War. The Lost Book of Herodotus made mention of this individual and their artifact, which spurred the Assassin Layla Hassan on a quest to explore their genetic memory. As the research was inconclusive, this individual could either have been Kassandra – the real Misthios – or Alexios, leaving Layla with the option to pick either individual through which to explore the memories.
