Purpose of this page, sexuality, and other notes[edit source]

I almost neglected to leave a few important notes to clarify the edits on this article.

The first is that in regards to this character's sexuality, although the ancient Greeks regularly practiced homosexual behavior, this doesn't automatically confirm that Alexios and/or Kassandra themselves are homo/bisexual in particular. Francesco did point out to me that there are romance options in the game, but I think it's as of yet still unclear if the developers have chosen to limit certain options depending on your choice of sex. I agree that this is unlikely as we are now in a period where homosexuality is increasingly being promoted as normal as heterosexuality—which is good—and Ubisoft has had many LGBT characters in this series in the past, most notably with Jacob Frye. However, we shouldn't make assumptions, and we should wait and see. If I am wrong and there actually has been clear confirmation that the two characters retain the exact same romance options, such that Kassandra and Kyra can be a couple, then please let me know.

Otherwise, a few other things I wanted to explain is that the Spear of Leonidas, referred to as an "Isu artifact" in the gameplay trailer so far, has not been confirmed to be a Piece of Eden necessarily. Not all Isu artifacts are Pieces of Eden, as similar as they all are, and so as of yet, this character shouldn't be categorized under "individuals who held Pieces of Eden either".

Finally, this page merging Alexios and Kassandra together is only meant to be a temporary solution for now to avoid the awkward need to word "Alexios/Kassandra" everywhere in other articles. We hope that once the game has been released, and new information arrives, we can differentiate the two again in separate articles. As of now, we are not sure if the two are related, and the one not chosen takes a different plotline as an NPC or conversely, that the two are mutually exclusive such that if Alexios exists then Kassandra never exists at all. Source for Voice Actor & Actress[edit source]

For the actor & actress, I was unable to edit the page as I do not have permission sadly but I found sources for it as it requested a citation. The voice actress for Kassandra is confirmed as Melissanthi Mahut & the voice of Alexios is confirmed as Michael Antonakos https://twitter.com/mlssmahut/status/1006545983084351488 https://twitter.com/mls https://twitter.com/mlssmahut/status/1006545983084351488 smahut/status/1 https://twitter.com/mlssmahut/status/1006545983084351488 006545983084

351488 I appologise if this is not the place for it, I'm new to Wikia and only made a few edits, wasn't sure who to ask about editing. I assume people are following this page and will see this. AnthonyCampbell1 (talk) 22:59, June 13, 2018 (UTC)AnthonyCampbell1

Kassandra canonized[edit source]

Kassandra seems to be the cannonical Misthios with the Odyssey novel refere her as the one who is exiled by her family.Francesco75 (talk) 09:13, June 17, 2018 (UTC)

Yes, we should wait for the novel's release before updating this information. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 22:47, June 18, 2018 (UTC)

Kassandra was confirmed to be canon in todays AMA on reddit . Canon story will be told in novel. Kulurak (talk) 19:51, June 21, 2018 (UTC)

Redundancy of this article[edit source]

I'm confused why we still maintain this article now that this individual's identity has been confirmed to canonically be Kassandra. They are one and the same, and there does not need to be two separate articles about them, one of which masquerades as though it's uncertain. While in-universe, Layla Hassan can somehow access the memories of either of them... to the point it sounds like Kassandra's memories can be relived with Alexios' body, this doesn't change the fact that the actual Misthios was Kassandra and never Alexios. The Misthios isn't this concept of the digital subject Layla can access which can be either Kassandra or Alexios (if that's the right way to describe it), but Kassandra herself. If it is the case that Kassandra is confirmed to be the canonical Misthios, then the articles should indeed be merged. That being said, I'm not convinced that she *is* confirmed to be the canonical Misthios. The AMA being cited for the assumption states:
"Yes there will be a canon represented in the novel. It features Kassandra and her journey."
The "a" is important here, since it implies the existence of additional canon which may or may not include Kassandra (it'll be a mess, sure, but it's still something we'll have to content with). Because of this, I'm actually of the opinion that the articles were split far too early, and Misthios should still be the main article with Kassandra and Alexios redirecting to it. In fact, I would argue that this article should remain the primary up until the release of the game. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 08:14, July 16, 2018 (UTC)
