They call me many things: Murderer. Cutthroat. Thief. But you may call me The Centaur of Euboea.

This article is about a subject that lacks an official name and is known only by its nickname, title, or alias.

"Slaves understand you better when you carve your rules into the backs of their heads."
―The Centaur of Euboea's motto.[src]

The Centaur of Euboea (died c. 420s BCE) was a member of The Silver Vein branch of the Cult of Kosmos who lived during the 5th century BCE.

Biographer[edit | edit source]

Amassing his wealth from the copper trade, he contributed to the wealth of the Cult. In return, the Cult provided him with slaves for his mines.[1]

However, the Centaur had a penchant for occasionally killing his own slaves, and for this transgression he was warned by the branch's Sage never to do it again or be violently castrated.[2] When not overseeing his copper trade, the Centaur made use of an Abandoned Mine on the island as his dwelling, hiring a band of bandits to protect him.[3]

During the Peloponnesian War, the Centaur was hunted down and killed by the Spartan misthios Kassandra on her quest to destroy the Cult of Kosmos.[4]
