Snake Temple

The Snake Temple, also called the Snake Ruins, was a ruined temple within the Valley of the Snake in Phokis, Greece. It was so named for the fossilized giant skeleton of a monstrous snake wound around the rocks of the ruins.

During the Peloponnesian War, the ruins were visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, in her quest to locate and assassinate Elpenor, a member of the Cult of Kosmos. After eliminating the Cultist guards in the ruins, Kassandra travelled to the nearby cave and slew Elpenor, recovering an Artifact Fragment, outfit, and mask from him.[1]
