Phaidon was a slave working in the Lavrio Silver Mine under The Master during the 5th century BCE.

Biography[edit | edit source]

At some point, the Master promised to let Phaidon go if he earned enough drachmae. Phaidon did so, but after he'd given his money to the Master, the Master denied ever making such a promise, and kept Phaidon as a slave. When the Spartan misthios Kassandra learned of Phaidon's predicament, she faced the Master, learning that he was a member of the Eyes of Kosmos branch of the Cult of Kosmos. The Master suggested Kassandra eliminate a woman in exchange for Phaidon's freedom.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • If Kassandra chose to accept the Master's request to eliminate the woman, Phaidon was granted his freedom.
  • If Kassandra chose to decline the request, then Phaidon remained under the Master's employment, regardless of the Master's death afterwards.
  • If Odessa was recruited as a member of the crew of the Adrestia, there is no way to accept the Master's request.
