The Olympic Shipwreck

The Olympic shipwreck was a shipwreck located south of the Araxos Point during the 5th century BCE.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found the shipwreck and looted its treasures, among them a figurehead featuring Pegasos for the ship Adrestia.[1]
