Obelia was a pirate who worked in Koressia on the island of Keos during the Peloponnesian War.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Around the time of the Peloponnesian War, Obelia ran a scam of hiring mercenaries to help her retrieve an ancient Minoan treasure within the ruins south of Keos.[1] This lasted until the Spartan misthios Kassandra managed to fight the sharks and recover the treasure. When Kassandra met Obelia on the latter's trireme, Obelia refused to pay her and demanded that she hand over the artifact.[2]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
Obelia, a character in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares her name with a genus of hydrozoans.
If Kassandra does not hand over the artifact or lies about not finding it, Obelia and her ship crew will attack Kassandra.
If she is knocked out, Obelia can be recruited as an epic lieutenant for the Adrestia with a unique avatar.
Strangely, in the scene where Obelia threatens Kassandra, they are at the back of the bireme where the captain usually stands, but when the scene finishes, they are actually at the front of the ship.
If the artifact is not given to Obelia, it can be sold to any blacksmith for 8250 drachmae.
