Manchester is a city in northern England. It was the hometown of the farmer Bernard Kenway, father to the Assassin Edward Kenway.[1]

In 1868, the first train to leave St. Pancras station in London was originally bound for Manchester, but it did not stop until it reached Leicester, 97 miles away.[2]

In 1873, the Templars were in charge of an art smuggling ring, which transported their stolen goods from Cairo to Manchester. After discovering the operation, the Egyptian Brotherhood council member Amira Benyamina sent the British Assassin Pierrette Arnaud to investigate the Templars' office in Cairo.[3]
