The Ktimene Beach

The Ktimene Beach was a beach located on the eastern coast of the Greek island of Kephallonia, south of Sami. In 431 BCE, Phoibe, a friend of the misthios Kassandra, was kidnapped by the Cyclops of Kephallonia's followers, who brought her to a hut on the beach. After Kassandra heard about the incident from Euterpe, she went to the beach and freed the girl.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The name of the beach in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey shares the name with Ktimene, the younger sister of Ithaka's king Odysseus in Homer's Odyssey.
