Megara

Magara is a historic town and a municipality in Megaris, Greece.

In the 5th century BCE, Megara was a city-state which aligned itself with Sparta's Peloponnesian League.

Around 431 BCE, the city was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
