Glenn

Glenn (died 1296) was a Scottish goldsmith who lived in Berwick-upon-Tweed during the late 13th century. He was a friend of the tailor Alastair Aitken, with whom he was in the Merchants Guild.

On 30 March 1296, Glenn visited Alastair's home to convince him and the children under his care, Ailéas and Fillan, to leave the city, which was been under sieged by the English army for three days. Alastair agreed that they will leave at night and outlined a plan with him on how they would leave the city. However, this plan did not came to fruition as the English army sacked the city the same night, slaughtering many of its residents including Glenn. His body was later found in his shop by Fillan.
