Eritha was the identical twin sister of Diona and a high priestess of Aphrodite who lived during the 5th century BCE on Kythera Island, Greece.

Biography[edit | edit source]

As the older twin sister of Diona, Eritha overshadowed her twin.

Sometime during the 420s BCE, Diona made the acquaintance of the Spartan misthios Kassandra. Seeing her as an opportunity, Diona manipulated Kassandra. With other obstacles out of her way, Diona set her mind to killing Eritha; Kassandra saw the twins fighting at the Altar of Aphrodite, and ultimately saw through Diona's lies and killed her.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Eritha shares the same name with a Mycenaean Greek priestess who flourished during the 13th century BCE.
  • Eritha's fate is dependent on Kassandra's choice in the memory By the Fates, who has to identify which of the identical twin sisters is Diona or Eritha. If chosen incorrectly, Eritha dies but Diona will still perish regardless in the memory.
