Telemenes was a shipbuilder who lived in Sami, on the Greek island of Kephallonia, during the Peloponnesian War.

Biography[edit | edit source]

In 431 BCE, Telemenes was sought out by the misthios, Kassandra, who needed a ship in order to leave Kephallonia and travel to Megaris. When she requested for a ship, Telemenes suggested that she travel to Kleptous Bay, where the Cyclops of Kephallonia operated in, having heard rumours that the Cyclops had a ship docked in the bay.^[1]
