Entrance to the shrine near the waterfall

The Waterfall of Styx is a waterfall in a small mountain near Mount Psophis in Arkadia, Greece. It was named after a Greek river goddess, Styx. Behind the waterfall was situated a shrine that contained an ancient stele within.

During the Peloponnesian War, the waterfall who visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who also explored the shrine.[1]
